Why WebApps?
There are several reasons to consider building a WebApp over a native phone app. Some of these include the Following:
1. Your list of needed functionality may not require a native app. If, for example, you don't need to access functions on the phone such as the camera, accelerometer, GPS, or other such capabilities, then you don't need a native phone app.
2. With phone apps, there is an approval process(a day or two) for every update you make to the app. With WebApps, you can roll out updates immediately: no approvals.

For native phone apps on the Apple App Store, developers currently have to pay an annual fee of $99 PLUS at least 15% (30% for higher revenue apps) of there subscription or purchase fees are taken by Apple. Google’s Play Store will charge you a one time $25 setup fee and then their revenue share on subscriptions and purchases is also at least 15% of the price(again, 30% for higher revenue apps). You receive 70% of the payment. In building your WebApp, we’ll use a service like Paypal or Stripe which both take 2.9%+30¢ per transaction. You'll also be responsible for webhosting fees and domain purchase fees. These are typically around $100 annually. That's a HUGE DIFFERENCE.
